Beaminster Festival

I will be talking with Sarah Russell Hill about my book 'From SOE Hero to Dressing the Queen - The Amazing Life of Sir Hardy Amies', at the Beaminster Festival, Bridport, Dorset.
Launch Event
The launch event for my book went very well. I was fortunate to be able to host it in Sir Hardy's old premises at 14 Savile Row in central London.
The fabulous surroundings have been sensitively and beautifully updated by the present occupants, Hackett Menswear, but the sense of being in the original Hardy Amies Couture House made for a wonderfully atmospheric and fitting occasion. The picture below shows me with Mr Jeremy Hackett at the launch. The final picture shows me next to the area on the ground floor where there is a commemorative display honouring Sir Hardy and the House in its heyday.
Official Book Launch Event in London, Savile Row
November 2023
On November 15th Lynda will be hosting a launch event at the home of Sir Hardy’s original Savile Row couture house. The event will involve contributors, friends and family who were part of the project. There will be some limited space for media attendees.
